ive been dealing with chronic fatigue and severe anxiety for over 2 years now after a 6 month bout of insomnia. I realized last September that I had adrenal fatigue after reading james wilsons book. I started on his supplements and didn't notice much difference. I then read chronic fatigue 2000 and noticed that I was much calmer after taking seriphos, which made sense as I've always tested high for cortisol. I've been taking a large dose of the seriphos for 4 months along with adaptogens, b vitamins, vit c, healthy diet, etc. I've also been sleeping on a magnetico bed for a month. I've made a lot of progress as I would say the brain fog has mostly gone, but I'm still very fatigued and still require atenolol for anxiety although the dose is down to 25 mg from 50. I've seen a lot of people post that adrenal fatigue typically takes 6 months to 2 years to recover, but I feel as though they are talking about low cortisol. Can anyone let me know what the normal recovery time is for high cortisol adrenal fatigue? Also is there anything else I should be doing? Are there any kind of things I can look at to gauge how much longer this will take?
