I know this sounds really bizarre but at night (and only at night) my whole family, including myself, experience severe brain fog. For example, we'll be having a conversation and right in the middle of a sentence my brain will just shut down and I can't at all remember what I was trying to say. I should back up and say that I am only 22. I live with my grandparents and they, too, experience this. I could understand this being age related for them, but I also lived with my boyfriend and it happened to him also. Could this be something airborne? Could mold/fungus/mites or even a parasitic infection be the cause of this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated because this is really starting to scare me.
