I don't agree with the whole seminary idea either or the expensive church buildings.

But from what I've seen, these healing training courses get into more than what you said there and include techniques, etc. Just like with tongues, techniques are taught. And I just don't see how that represents the true biblical gift of healing that was given without having to learn techniques.

Going off your analogy though, it would be really embarrassing I'm sure if the deputy went to arrest someone but couldn't do it even when the person really wanted to be arrested, or was even begging to be arrested. :)
