No it's not the winter. It's a burning and peeling cycle that is not just chapped lips. I'm still taking the colostrum. But I did look at my old posts and I found that I had been putting a mixture of the colostrum and water on my lips. I did that and it got MUCH better immediately. I would recommend for anyone to try this followed by your favorite lip balm. The only one that I use is Moon Valley Organics.
