Hi all, my doctor has had me on 12.5 mg of iodizyme/brazil nuts for 4 months and I am starting to have some strange symptoms. I am wondering if they mean that I should stop taking Iodine or they are detox symptoms:

1) My last period was light and kind of irregular (stop and start although it was on time- light flow)

2) dry mouth and dry eyes

3) light weight gain (prob due to poor eating/alcohol over the holidays).

I normally follow a paleo diet and exercise 2-3 times per week. Other than that I feel fine. I wrote to my doc and am awaiting an answer...just wanted to see what people here thought.
