It might be interesting to compare your experience while taking just DMPS or DMSA. some people can obtain it from the site that hosts hair tests for the detox groups--livingnetworks. They have a good reputation in the yahoo groups.

Could it be that you were not taking enough vitamin C (several grams+) and E (1000IU+) per day?
