"I am just showing you where your ideas for such a thing come from. You just don't want to hear it and want me to be silent so your false ideas can reign without debate."
Well think as you wish but I don't think your arguments such as torment could never mean torture are causing me to feel threatened in my position. :) So debate all you wish, go to town after I post something. I just don't want to waste my time with having the subject change to something else constantly that you'd rather talk about while also being jabbed with "well you believe that because you were in a cult!" crap, etc. Your arguments are not a threat to me, but they are not doing anything but irritating me either because I'm seeing more attempts at attacking me than bringing some real substance to the debate.
"Your basic beliefs dictate how you are going to understand the rest of scripture. It has to be brought out to show where the error began and where it is going."
Yeah, I get that, and back at ya on that one! :) But if that's what it takes, rehashing the same old arguments every time a new subject is brought up, then what is the point? Might as well push the replay button every time and save the effort. lol
"Next time just write a little disclaimer that you like posting in the debate forum but do not wish to debate, if you just want to post something people may disagree with. That would work."
I obviously like to debate, just not when it turns stupid, and I knew that would be the case for sure with this topic. So maybe my disclaimer should be: I would love to debate this, but if it turns stupid and you have no substance to add to the debate, I'm out! Peace!
