Thanks for sharing the recipe. How long do you keep it outside to ferment? Do you need to mix it once in a while during the fermentation? How much do you eat a day?
Kombucha is a great one too.
As to the enema - it is straightforward - because it only involves the portion of the colon at the end. You need a good lubricant - natural oils are the best. Enema kits are sold in all pharmacies. I believe many people use it on a regular basis.
For the colonic I can tell that there is a little more mastery to be involved and probably a few trials before you get it right. I have posted a detailed description in my last messages.
Anyway - one chooses what feels best for them. I have bowel adhesions from a surgery to the abdomen, so a colonic for me is the best solution in times of intestinal distress.
