I make both milk and coconut milk kefir grains. Coconut is just superb, in taste, creaminess, etc. I do not feel much different in what it does in my belly.

I have to try number 2 & 3 questions, coconut oil seems it will work, but I suspect that the grains may die from iodine. It is worth a try.
