I have read that Iodine drs will usually recommend 12-25mg Iodine per day for 3-6 months, but monitor thyroid.
You will need to know when you get hyper or more hypo and how to adjust your thyroid meds. Some folks can tell by how they feel if they are going more hyper or hypo and adjust their meds accordingly.
