I recently started taking MSM (OptiMSM) at 1000 milligrams 2x a day. I quickly realized that was too much because I was experiencing terrible depression. I scaled back and am taking 500 milligrams 2x a day now, going on 2 weeks. I'm also taking Vitamin C and dandelion and doing coffee enemas whenever needed.

Up until Thursday I was doing excellent - seeing cleansing reactions (runny nose, itchy feet and underarms, disappearing tongue coating, less puffiness in tongue) and then out of nowhere, my period started a week early. And it is BAD -- smelly, profuse bleeding and sharp cramps. I realize menstruation is a cleansing process too and can weather it but am wondering, should I continue to take the MSM and dandelion while I am bleeding or am I making it worse by doing so?
