I did not try the high dose but I did 400 mg twice a day for 20 days. I took albendazole for 10 days then switched to alinia for 20 days then went right back onto albendazole to finish the 5 days and this is what killed my large Ascaris worm. It was in the small intestine. It was at least 5 inches long and fat. It made a ruckus when it died. I didnt know I had it so I was in shock when it came out. I knew there was something blocking the small intestine though. I felt that the alina worked well to kill pinworms. I found the alina easier to tolerate. It is not supposed to be hard on your liver.
