I never did the salt push on an empty stomach and just read your post again.

After doing one today on an empty stomach my kidney pain went away for a bit, its back now but I'm on a full stomach.

I guess I have to wait a bit, but it looks like there is some credence to these salt pushes for clearing out the kidneys.
