Hi there! I noticed you are taking 125mg of zinc, and that's way too much! Excess zinc (more than 50mg a day) is known to CAUSE copper deficiency. Your body produces metallothionein when it's exposed to too much zinc in order to limit absorption of excess zinc. BUT, metallothionein has a higher affinity for copper. So too much zinc will cause copper to not be absorbed.

Copper excess does not have the same effect on zinc, however. I would stop taking the zinc supplement completely for a while if I were you, and supplement only with copper for 6 to 8 weeks.
The upper limit of copper is 10mg. A four ounce piece of beef liver has over 10mg of copper as well as other important nutrients like choline and vitamin A. So that's a great food source.
ALSO, vitamin C and iron will interfere with copper absorption. Take your copper with your calcium, and take your vitamin C and iron a few hours before or after.
:)
