Well, on the bright side, it is free-floating, so there is no organ loss. I have the risk of losing a kidney from my 2cm cyst that I would not even know about if not for a CT Scan, on the other hand.

Don't worry about the scar, since the tumor is so near to the surface. It probably weighs 4 pounds or more, so you will lose that weight too..

Is the reason it is not done here technological, or for safety reasons? I wouldn't assume that the methods in Asia are necessarily safe (unless it is Japan).
