I live in Mexico, which makes it much more unlikely for me to find someone wonderful than for you with all of LA to shop around! Try asking at good health food stores/yoga classes etc. to find like minded people who might have a referral. It is well worth the effort to find someone to help outline your goals and the steps to achieve them!

Interview. If you don't like the way the naturopath or whatever thinks... talk to another until you find someone who thinks the way you do! That way you can work together as a team.
