One more addition: besides SAD, the only regimine that ever truly failed me was the ketogenic diet. I tried it because I liked the blunting of my emotions I experience in ketosis (an attempt at controlling my reaponse to stress), but it completely shot my immune system and my sleep hygiene went to the pit. It was a genuine failure for my body chemistry.
