FYI-- I used to have that feeling in my sleep too, like it was a dream. Turns out, I really wasn't breathing-- I have sleep apnea. I had a sleep test that indicated that many, many times per hour I was not breathing while I was asleep. Was fitted for a cpap machine and now I never have that feeling.
