I'm quite sorry that I only just now noticed your post here. It is quite involved and has a great deal of detail that you surely spent some time and effort considering. I certainly didn't intend to ignore you. :(
I think education, like money only makes you more of what you already are. I've met plenty of manipulative and tricksy folks with no education at all, so I'm going with it has become a norm to try and discredit educated and strong women. And part of that is insisting we always be gracious and let others win. Not likely to happen here. :)
And I do understand about subtle joke making being easily misunderstood--I added those smiley faces for that reason myself. Unfortunately it is way too easy to misunderstand without the visual clues. I'm likely to think (since this is such a hostile environment toward me speaking what I've discovered to be true for me) that it is being done for more manipulative reasons, so I am unlikely to view it in the way you seemed to have meant. :(
I've never shared silver as a remedy, myself, having found the goldenseal and other herbs to work so much better. I'm thinking it most likely is a body type issue. I'd be curious to see if taking it with the pepper caps would improve it's performance, but if silver is doing the trick, it's unlikely you might, eh? I'm suspecting since you're a vata probably, even tea isn't quite the boost you need, although much better than cold water. And tea--ack--goldenseal is one I just can't drink in a tea. I can't stand tea in general though, so if it's even a little icky--not happening.
I never gave my ex silver but based on your experience, it might have been better than the herbs because he is a pretty strong vata. I didn't know about the hot beverage thing or the Ayurveda at the time though, so I helped best I could. His stuff was usually a respiratory virus from work which the echinacea did help, but never as much as I would have wished.
He had his gallbladder removed so I attributed it's lackadaisical performance on some digestive issue. But I have not had all that much success getting the guys in my life to allow me to help, so I'm not sure I could have convinced him to try it even, because it does taste. He was very picky about those things.
I think many men are more determined to make their body behave/obey, than try to help it. They probably see it as weakness and betrayal on their body's part, and well, there's a reason men usually prefer an obedient dog to an independent cat, eh? Sounds like you've been more successful with gals as well.:)
And that allergic reaction testing--absolutely honest to god, cross my heart, hope to die, muscle testing can totally answer exactly those kinds of questions with incredible accuracy. It's a tool everyone should learn. It will totally be able to guide you in the things that are good for you, and things that are not. Plus it can tell you what you actually need, if you ask about the right substances.
I've found it works as resistance too, so if you're not too dry (after menopause I got that way) you can just rub your fingers together even, and have an immediate answer that I've found to be very accurate. I talk about it over on my thread in the spirituality/prophesy forums 'spiritual healing' under the 'muscle testing' post about 47 days ago, if you want more info.
And EFT actually will get rid of eye floaters really well. Of course, whatever causes them happens again, but you can just tap for them again easily and usually all I have left are vague shadows or nothing at all. :)
Unfortunately, I don't recall how much I paid for my testers (probably close to 20 years ago anyway) and the brand names are Intelltech and HMdigital, I think. I'm seeing the Intelltech gets bad ratings, but it looks like the HM one is ok, and while they're saying the Intelltech gives poor readings, both meters usually were within a few points of each other, so I don't know what their issues are. But since I only use it for dandruff, it's been fine for me.
And I think you're right about those other reasons herbs don't 'work' for a lot of folks too, (just like with zappers), is people don't use them correctly, or persistently enough. They quit before it's gone, stopping when the most obvious symptoms have subsided. And then, it flares back up so it 'doesn't work'. Doh! I'm one of those if 'some is good, more is better' types so I usually start with a significant dose size (5 or more caps sometimes) and do that for a couple doses until the heavy part of the infection subsides, and then cut back to 2 or 3 until it's gone, and a day more usually just to make sure. Goldenseal root has always kindly provided a bathroom express effect when it's no longer needed I've found. :)
And drinking a bit of cranberry juice everyday kept bladder infections away. I've stopped needing to do that, but in the process of stopping (forgetting to drink it mostly) if one started to flare up, I just needed to do a double amount of the cranberry juice and it went right away. Thankfully.
And yeah--we have to make our own way thru all this because so much has been suppressed or deliberately distorted, it ends up each of us has to re-invent the wheel again if we want the real healing solutions.
I think that's one of the things I really liked about Dr. Clark. She was willing to invent her own wheel against all the pharmaceutical cartel's threats and abuses, because she really hated how much people were suffering. It really seemed to have nothing to do with money except for enough to run her clinic. I wish I could have met her.
Again, sorry for missing your post. :(
