I just got diagnosed with high blood pressure and heart disease runs in the my family. I really need to be able to do the diet Bill Clinton is on - the Esselstyn diet which is vegan with no oils and no nuts. It is terrifying and I started getting sick just one week after being on it. I appreciate your honest post because I am extremely worried about not getting enough nutrition and I couldn't find any negative posts until I got to yours. I wish there was more honest information about these diets for those of us who need to do them to save our lives. I obviously am going to need to "cheat" on this diet to stay healthy in the short term but not cheat enough to defeat the purpose of the diet. I appreciate your honesty so much.
