Hi everyone. So yesterday I found out a cousin of mine was shot in the stomach over the weekend. He was trying to defend someone in a robbery, and the perpetrator pulled the trigger.

I rarely see him, but feel absolutely awful, and want to do more than just say, "Get well soon." Does anyone know any nutrients I can send to help him heal faster? While he's in intensive care, I know his parents and physicians won't want him to take anything, but hopefully he will be in better condition in the next couple of weeks, and I can send him something. The only safe thing I can think of is non-gmo vitamin c. Any other recommendations?
