What makes it Amber if it only has 12.5 PPM

As I posted in another post I would set my CS Generator polarity on DC and manual. [strictly DC] It would take longer, and eventually max out about 6 PPM to7. Then I changed the generator to swap and auto which is [AC and DC] alternating automatically.

The next time I checked, it was turning amber so I shut it down. I don't know what would have happened had I left it for a longer time. The clear does everything I have ask it to do, so [If it aint broke don't fix it]

I prefer the smaller particles.
