Hello Dr.McComb,
My husband had a triple bypass in May, 2015. Due to infection caused by the surgical wire, he has been on intravenous antibiotics since then and will continue at least another 3 weeks, Dec. 2015. He is type 2 Diabetic and because of the beta blockers he is on, he doesn't have very much energy. He has gain 25lbs. But has no muscular strength. His biceps and shoulders are looking gaunt. He is 59 yrs old and never sick or on medication before Aug. 2014. Where do we start?
