Currently on day 18 of ? We shall see. I've done 40 days (5 years ago). And many 3-10 days in past 2 years (in between was pregnancy and breastfeeding).

Some things I have learned/experienced in my years of cleansing

-missing more than 1 day of swf gives me a headache
-I get dehydrated very quickly and have added 1-2 cups of coconut water, I try to drink 2 quarts of water daily
-always used grey salt with success, this time I used Morton's canning and pickling salt (I switched from Sea Salt in the house because of heavy metal testing). Morton's is too strong and caused dehydration. Flush happened faster, I do think 1/4 of the amount would be right, but switching back to grey salt works best for me.
-yogi tea get regular us much gentler than straight sienna/traditional medicinals-which gave me huge cramps.
-this is by far the easiest and more effective type of cleanse I've done. I've experienced water only, natural hygiene, juicing).
-watermelon or avocado is easier on my stomach post cleanse vs oj.
-365 and trader joes maple syrup are good, tree of life gave me a headache, was watery and too sweet, not sure why, is grade b. I've had grade c (before they changed the grading) I liked it best but the price went way up from 5 years ago.
-drinking swf with warm water is helpful to those who have a gag reflex, my husband says it's like soup and easier for him.
-keep reading the book! And I'm talking the original book, I mistakenly bought a master cleanse book that was recently published and the author talks about enemas and other things Stanley Burroughs specifically says not to do in his book. Also so many people fail or stop short because they don't read the book.

Plan to update as I go along, I've been journaling daily but I'll give the short version. I'm down 15 pounds (started at 190), the first 10 days I had a lot of detox and dehydration, switched salt and added coconut water. Since then I've bee feeling great, more mental clarity, clothes fit good, lots of energy. 2 days now my energy is low and today I have a headache, much less after the salt water flush. I go for a walk just about every other day and have been doing deep house cleaning. Overall feeling great. Pms much less, lighter, no cramps, but still tired during.
