Hello - I just got a Mirena in yesterday. I wanted a more secure form of birth control ... However, the pill had worked for me for almost 5 years. Getting it in was awful - the doctor has to clamp me four different times and it was extremely difficult to get in. I bled from the clamp before I spotted from the Mirena. I have been crying for almost 8 hours straight.... Not from cramp pain... I'm not sure why I am. I had a minor panic attack last night and when I looked up all of the stories it makes me want it out I can feel a difference in my body. However, it has been less than 12 hours. That embarrasses me... I know that shouldn't matter. I think getting it in was a mistake.... I want to get it out now... Should I?
