ME! I had the Mirena in for about 6-7 months and after about month 3 I started experienceing HORRIBLE mood swings, depression, no sexual appetite, and anxiety. I have never been one to really struggle with those things, so it was shocking. I did a bit of research and learned others had experienced similar things with the Mirena. I decided to get it removed. The removal was about 2.5 weeks ago. I feel a LITTLE better but still really struggling with mood swings and anxiety. Like completely hot and cold. I will feel so happy one second, and like a hot mess the next. Sex drive is the same. I will be into it one minute, and literally DURING it, suddenly not want anything to do with my partner. So you are not alone!
