Hi,

I've read your postings in regards to taking Iodine during pregnancy. I am wondering if you can follow up with your child's development. I have been taking lugal's solution 2% 5 drops which equals 12.5 mg. it's way above the recommended dosage and my husband is scared this will effect the development based on some of his readings that high dose of Iodine may cause mental development problems for the child. I have not come upon any mother's experience with taking such high doses of Iodine and any support or recommendations based on your experience is greatly appreciated. I don't want to do anything to harm the baby ... In fact I'm only taking this in thinking I can improve on the baby's brain development and iq health. I'm currently 6 weeks pregnant
