Glad to hear that you have the cartilage there for you to make some improvements.

I AM SORRY, I WANT TO CORRECT WHAT I WROTE EARLIER ABOUT GEL INJECTIONS FOR YOUR KNEES. IF YOU HAVE ANY CARTILAGE IN YOUR KNEE JOINT DO NOT TAKE THE GEL INJECTIONS, THEY ACTUALLY HARM YOUR KNEES, THEY WILL DEPLETE THE CARTILAGE AND DEPOSIT JUNK FROM WARE AND TARE IN THE JOINT. OH! Modern medicine.

One other exercise from Baba Ramdev is to lay on your back, raise your legs and do the bicycle action in the air, which puts no load on the knees. I cannot find that video anywhere.
