Sounds like high TPO is more concerning than the TSH. I wonder what people here think about the TPO reading.
Thanks for your answers davandbar. Sounds like you are taking care of your health well, but I would wonder if you might need a little more selenium and vitamin C with the high dose iodine. The selenium is supposed to help with TPO, though I'm sure you know that selenium taken in an iodine-deficient state can cause hypo symptoms (your ND will advise).
It's a blessing your health is good, and I'd really encourage buying a digital thermometer to check for hypo. Put it under your arm for 10 mins 1st thing on waking before switching it on. Best at days 2-4 of period (I think, check that).
Sounds like you are stopping Iodine and doing other things to get TPO down at the same time, plus you don't know if the TPO was high before starting Iodine anyway. So will be hard to know what caused what.
Oh - one other thing, some people can have a reaction to bee pollen (the particles found in the bloodstream) - could cause autoimmune, you never know.
I do hope you find your answers, looking fwd to updates - VERY interested to hear what iodine-lit doc has to say!
very best,
