I think this is going to be close to my last response to you.

First of all did you comprehend the abstract?

It implied that HIGHER than normal levels of Iodine would be needed to compensate for the defect. A trace amount would not be likely to have much effect. A person with this defect would likely not have any reaction to normal dietary amounts in fish. Also the allergy personhas reported no other health issues other than the anonlous Iodine allergy. If they were in fact so deficient in Iodine then surely they would have terrible metabolic problems and perhaps a cretin-esque syndrome.

Secondly, I did not post this in the allergy thread. You made the leap and connected these two. You may be right you may be wrong. Who know really. But don't jump into classic Ginagirl conclusions and assume you're right just because of one abstract posted on an internet forum.

Finally what I find disturbing about your method is there is always an agenda lurking, rather than a sincere desire to get down to a level of scientific truth. Granted you have helped people with the high dose protocol, but only when it fit into your schema i.e. the whole world needs high doses. When someone presents a case outside of your comprehension your behavior is cult-like and censory.

So gather your cult members, pool trapper's profits from his iodine sales and y'all get some NIS defect tests, then we'll talk maybe.
