I often retain coffee implants (about 12oz, give or take) for at least an hour. I am sure the solution reaches some equilibrium where no more caffeine or palmitic acid is absorbed. That time to equilibrium undoubtedly varies from one individual to another.

Sometimes, I NEVER expel the implant as the water in it is soon absorbed and I just go about my day.
The thought has occurred to me that the residual coffee, although vegetable and organically grown, might have some negative health impact, long term, of which I am unaware. Does anybody have any experience or special knowledge on this topic?
