Hi, I'm new here. I want to introduce myself first. I've had this condition for almost 8 years now and it has completely ruined my life. I have experienced true despair. I tried everything. Including the "leave it alone method" for over 2 years, with no result. I have a few questions about your method. When you say vaseline will work just as well. Have you actually tested that? Because I tried it and it became far worse. The reason why I don't believe it is because vaseline is petroleum based. Aquaphor is water based. There's a huge difference. However, I have never tried this aquaphor. So, I will give your method a shot. But when you say you have to gently rub some dead skin off with a toothbrush, is that really necessary? Won't it just come off anyway? Or is that just for aesthetic reasons? Are you still fully healed? Do you still have to apply anything?
