Thanks for the reply. I have read all of this general information.

The problem is that I know for a fact that I have a 3cm stone (and probably many others) and it is either near the gallbladder neck or in the neck. My body may be functioning as if it does not have a gallbladder. The bile duct is widened, possibly acting as a second reservoir.

Anyway, I do not necessarily want to flush the large stone, although I would like to flush all smaller stones. I would like to let the large stone "float" in the gallbladder away from the neck and not block bile flow in and out.

I don't know if this is really possible. Would like to hear from others who had this exact experience and confirmed with scans if possible.
