So I don't know if this is the right place for this or not, but I'm running out of ideas and hoping to find help for somebody in need.

I have a friend who has mayer-rokitansky-küster-hauser syndrome, aka mullarian agenesis. This is a rare condition which is defined by the underdevelopment of the female reproductive system. She has allot of intense pain due to this condition. However she had recently found that mint oil pills had been helping her for most of her problems. However she still gets intense stabbing pains that she feels are intestinally related. They're all over her mid section though, not central to one area. These pains are usually accompanied by nausea and last for several days. She has gone a mostly vegan diet, with the occasional piece of meat, mostly white.

As somebody who has dealt with chronic pain to varying degrees for quite a long time, I'm really wanting to find a way to help her. Now I know the first recommendation is going to be to go to a doctor, which she has (quite allot) and they've pretty much run out of ideas as to whats wrong with her or how to fix it. So I'm pretty lost and hoping somebody here can recommend something maybe a little less standard, as it seems like everything else has failed.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and I apologize if this is the wrong section.

FURTHER DETAILS:

------
I am 19 years old, I have the absence of both vagina and uterus, I have seen the gynecologist a gastroenterologist, I have been prescribed dilators (they do little to help anything), as to any prescribed medication that would be a no, the pain is cyclical and worse with intercourse.
I am on a low dose birth control no mitigate "menstrual cramps" i still have my ovaries.

-----

The doctors were going to take her ovaries however they did not want to do that because it would force her into menopause and they were both healthy . Doctors have not given a next step either. They were going to remove one but decided not to in the end.
