Addind sweetener may have caused the appetite, if you drink the hibiscus tea all by itself and have a ravenous appetite then I'd say you're on to something.
I drank it with honey and was ravenous like you said and then I drank it alone and no longer ravenous,
my appetite is normal now, so don't drink it with any sweetener.
