Ed, I have in no way been frightened into running away from truth. I believe my position on cessationism can very much be proved biblically.

I could talk to other continuists who could see what I'm saying about the NAR/Word of Faith leading people away from the true gospel and true Jesus, but you can't see this at all, and all I pretty much get in response when I show you all of the massive deception happening in the these groups, is "you are a demonic cessationists" over and over and then you say whatever demonism I show you in these groups pales into insignificance compared to my own demonism. So that's established, you think I'm a "demonic cessationist" and that's just about the worst thing anyone can be. Anything else you want to say? :)

Even though John Piper is a continuist, I used to love his writings. I'm sure I've even put articles on here before by him. But I can't do that anymore because he has joined up with those in the NAR/Word of Faith himself. He'll say the same thing as you, that he doesn't agree with them on everything, but he will still stand beside them at the same conferences and lead people to think it is okay to follow those people. So I see John Piper as a very dangerous man right now. And I think his false belief of continuism is part of what lead him into this horrific deception. I pray for him all the time that God will pull him out of this great deception so that he can help so many others get out too.

But as you see in what I just said right there, it wasn't John Piper's belief on continuism that I was so opposed too. I didn't like it but I just saw it as an error in his understanding as you talk about with these other people, they are just in error in some ways. But when I see John Piper not caring enough about the true gospel to take a stand against those that are leading everyone into a false gospel, then that is when I see him being very dangerous and not someone to be joined up with at all.
