Hi Incharge,

Thank you so much for a detailed reply. I have read some of your posts and I also commend you on the service you provide to CZ community. I like your passion and read your post about your mom.

I agree that Uric acid accumulates for years and shows up now. In my case I do small fasts and after last few fasts I got this reaction. I am planning another fast soon, but am a bit scared to try it to have gout reaction after that. This time it is the longest time for gout episode, usually I get rid of it fast.

I am a vegan and a life long vegetarian so purine foods are out of question. I have not had alcohol since college days. My liver is a bit week and I take milk thistle, dandelion, Passion flower extract and goldenseal for that. Although my liver enzyme test is always normal.

I eat pineapple almost every day. I will juice the whole pineapple with the core. I drink ACV at times but I like the idea of combining with Baking Soda and honey. I also eat honey every single day. I am taking Cherry juice and nettels tea since last few months. Beets from time to time.

I also eat only Celtic Sea Salt and Himalayan rock salt. I have red and black salts as well. I am one of those who sprinkle salt on almost everything. Sometimes on fruits too, hmmmm. LOL.

I was told not to eat strawberries but they are also part of my diet. So I will start again.

I have not taken any allopathic drugs for last 25 years, but resorted to Aleve yesterday for pain. But it did not help much.

I think I have some sort of hydration issue.

Should I do a kidney cleanse?

Thank you so much for your help.
