I like the idea of doing 3 days dry, 3 days refeeding, 3days dry, etc for a few cycles

probably just over 3 days as between there and 4 is the sweetspot for me where I get the maximum healing before starting to suffer effects of dehydration to the point where it starts to become dangerous imo.

One day I might try this.
