I understand what you are saying. I have no thyroid.
I cut my thyroid medicine in half when fasting. If I have to much weight loss I will get it checked and have it adjusted. This medicine causes acid whether I eat or not. Just worse when unable to eat and settle the amount of acid.
Feel much better after taking pepcid and will continue on.
