Living in a basement may be aggravating your illness because of mold and fungus. Hopefully you are able to find more suitable living situation soon.

Things that can kill mold, fungus, bacteria in basement are : Spraying with Lysol spray, Air ventilation and and light as much as possible.

Placing in corners cups of bleach or vinegar which will evaporate in the air and kill mold and fungus spores.

Have you considered finding a good shelter? eg. abused women's shelter may be cleaner, provide you food and and access to showers.
