That doesn't really make sense, because plenty of us have used chapstick or blistex or even aquaphor to moisturize our lips to no avail--the scabs begin growing the minute the wounded area is dry. Like I've said before, my lips do get dry these days. I don't keep them constantly moist--I don't obsess about them as much anymore.

And you can tell when the skin grows back, when your lips are not raw or red anymore, when they're not sensitive to the touch, when the triangle and that crater thing underneath is gone and replaced with flesh, when when you brush your teeth, you see no whiteness, when you stretch your lips to laugh or to eat, you feel no pain, no discomfort--you can just tell that this is not as it was before.

At least try it. As I keep saying, this takes only a matter of days and is relatively cheap (7 dollars a bottle, you'll only need one to see if it works), and there are NO side effects whatsoever. If you decide to experiment with an immunosuppressant instead, you might end up catching the common cold--or something much worse. With this, you'll go on as before, even if nothing happens.
