Hello,

So I started supplementing with nascent Iodine a few weeks ago and I think I started to have detox symptoms. I started to have Body Odor and then my tongue started swelling up. It didn't swell up very bad, but it was noticeable to me because I am a singer and it changed my voice (also i now had ridges on the sides of my tongue). Anyway, I stopped taking Iodine immediately and haven't taken it for about 2 weeks, but my tongue is still swollen. I went to the doctor about it and did a blood test and he told me that my TSH was .3, but my free levels were normal. Anyway, he basically told me he doesn't know why my tongue is swollen and told me not to worry about it, but I am a singer and I can't have it swollen like this any longer. I am afraid that maybe I started a detox process and then stopped in the middle of it, and now my tongue is indefinitely swollen. I do not know if I should continue with Iodine or if I should stop entirely. Please help
