Almost every food has protein.
Broccoli has more protein than steak, but it sucks eating it raw.
Coconut is the most hypoallergenic nut, but you have to work for it. Easy to open if you have a rock, but time consuming to separate from the shell.
Nuts aren't the best cleansing food IMO.
Protein deficiency is so rare, I wouldn't worry much about it. Chimpanzees get enough protein eating what they do.
I will rate my opinions of the most cleansing proteinaceous foods, from best to worst:
Raw Greens
Cooked Greens
Broccoli/Green Beans/Brussel Sprouts/Cauliflower
Coconut Potato/Yam
Nuts
Seeds
Grains(unrefined)
Lentils
Beans
People can become very strong on fruit and greens. They are really skinny though. If you want to be a bit thicker than you might have to cook some and eat nuts.
Most beans are toxic unless cooked. So are grains to some degree. Nuts evolved a hard shell to deter predation instead of toxins. Coconut is the healthiest IMO. Almonds #2.
If you eat potatoes/broccoli then you aren't getting much fat. If you eat beans or nuts/seeds then you are. Something to keep in mind.
