Probably because colostrum has growth factors that build tissue and muscle. Antimicrobials cause die off and kick up toxins that strain the liver. When the liver is strained it doesn't make IGF-1 growth factors as much. Probably why you gain weight from colostrum. I use colostrum myself to keep everything healing while I cleanse my body.
