I started to experience joint pain on my right knee 4 days ago. The pain only came when I would completely bend my right knee. Extending and partial bending was fine. I checked Candida die-off symptoms and found joint pain as one of them. So I ignored it and continued to eat probiotic pills, kefir, and anti-fungal foods (garlic, flax seed)while I research cures for Candida.

Today, I am experiencing a sharp pain in my left foot, precisely under my big toenail. Is this also a die-off symptom? Someone else suggested it could be gout, but I don't feel anything in the rest of my toe; just under my toenail. I've had gout before and it came up as a swelling in my right ankle/general foot area. This, however, is much more precise. The pain is a sharp stabbing (ie needle-like) sensation and there is no difference as to whether I am standing, sitting or elevating the leg.

Anyone have ideas? I just got through dealing with a lot of stress yesterday, and am not fond of another problem coming up so quickly. So I'm hoping those who have experienced weird die-off/flare up symptoms can chime in and give me some confirmation.
