********Anybody ready for a change?*********
(NaturalNews) The most recently released undercover video by a pro-life organization highlighting the barbarity of Planned Parenthood in harvesting baby organs for profit shows the CEO of a tissue-buying firm discussing sales of "intact specimens," meaning whole aborted babies that were likely to be born-alive infants.
In addition, the undercover video featuring Cate Dyer, of the California-based firm StemExpress, also displays the magnitude of her company's demand for fetal organs and tissue, The New American (TNA) reported.
The new revelations are just one of several involving Planned Parenthood that have been exposed by the Center for Medical Progress, which has released a total of eight videos thus far out of an expected dozen or so the group has reportedly produced.
As The New American reported further:
Several revelations have come out of the release of these videos by CMP, many of which reveal illegal, as well as immoral and unethical, practices by the hands of Planned Parenthood and StemExpress, a California-based company that partnered with Planned Parenthood to supply human blood, cells, and tissue products to biomedical researchers.
Previously released videos have shown Planned Parenthood officials admitting to selling aborted fetal body parts and organs for higher profit, as well as altering abortion procedures so that fetal organs and tissues would not be damaged during the procedure.
In addition, a video that surfaced in mid-August revealed that StemExpress did not always secure consent forms from mothers to use and sell their fetal tissue, which some observers have said amounts to a major ethical breach.
"Another 50 livers a week"
In the most recent video, an undercover "buyer" from CMP asks about securing "intact specimens," to which Dyer responds, "Oh yeah, I mean, if you have intact cases, which we've done a lot, we sometimes ship those back to our lab in its entirety."
You can watch the full video below:
CMP notes that Planned Parenthood officials have previously admitted that chemicals used to kill unborn babies during abortion procedures are not used in tissue procurement cases, because the chemicals would render the tissue unusable. That is de facto proof, then, that fetuses used for tissue procurement are much more likely to be born alive.
In the new video, Dyer complains that her company cannot seem to obtain enough fetal livers to keep up with the demand for them. In response, the undercover CMP actor inquires what number would make her "happy."
"Another 50 livers a week," Dyer answered. "We're working with almost, like, triple-digit-number clinics, and we still need more."
The videos have once again put the issue of abortion front and center, and not ironically as a new presidential campaign season gets underway. Also, the videos have put in danger Planned Parenthood's funding, $500 million of which comes in the form of taxpayer subsidies every year. Several Republicans in Congress want to cut off that funding after revelations contained in the series of CMP videos.
"They want both hemispheres intact"
As TNA further noted:
The eight released tapes include secretly recorded comments from executives of Planned Parenthood and StemExpress, undercover footage from clinics — including footage of fetal tissue being handled by workers, footage of fetal tissue from aborted pregnancies, and on-camera interviews with Holly O'Donnell, a former StemExpress procurement technician.
In a video released Aug. 19, O'Donnell – who is in three of the videos – discusses when she encountered aborted fetuses whose hearts were still beating.
She recalled in graphic detail the treatment of intact fetal specimens, at least one of which had a beating heart. And she talked about having to cut through the face of one aborted baby so technicians could retrieve its brain – an act which, for her, was one procedure too far. She quit after that.
"Usually they want both hemispheres intact with the brain stems, which usually doesn't happen," O'Donnell said. "They'll take like a 70 percent intact or an 80 percent intact... and you have to contact them and see if that'll be ok."
