Hello,

This message is by no means a way to put down fasting. My hair has been falling out now for 20 whole days since I broke my last dry fast of 105.5 hours.

I believe I was not watching as thoroughly as I should have been for dehydration as I think this is the issue now for the hair loss? I do not believe it has to do with an underlying illness.

As the day I decided to break it, I'd gone outside & noticed in sunlight that a patch of skin was drying, my eyes were also drier & they've still stayed quite a bit dry since than.

I have past experience with my hair falling out due to Water Fasting abuse 6 years ago. I lost 50% of my hair than. I ignored the signals to break the fast. I continued losing more hair for 1.5 years after.

I did not want to have to post on forums to ask for help, as I've been online a fair bit, & tend to be ridiculed for doing something incorrectly. I contacted the Fasting Doctor, only to be asked to post on a forum to have more of a "collection of info" & that he himself has actually grown more hair. So. by no means am I trying to put anyone's practice down. I just need help. I thought that by asking someone called The Fasting Doctor with over 35 years experience may have run into the odd person that went over board. I guess not.
