In my experience it works. But it takes some faith to listen to ourselves. The brain work in different ways, as when I listened to all the gurus about diets; I overruled my own cravings as they seemed to be wiser..

The body knows what`s in food. I have observed this in healthy / wild animals and birds, no way they touch whats not good for them. Then I thought; if they know, why can't I ?
Then I realized I could, it was the listening part that was the problem, aka body not brain:)

Brains are easily indoctrinated, body (cells) not.
