Hello CLEW, how do you do?

I haven't been, "back," since The Thing reared its head and let me know that I wasn't in Kansas.... and not even in Oz... anymore.

Though I don't speak the language(s), other than a smattering here and there, I have considered dying there...
This is blunt and not theatrical. I am old. If I lived there full time the exit date would not be too far up the time line.

But. It costs more to live there than here in the states. For me.

Isn't that something? Interesting?
We have been indoctrinated about how, "great," the United States is.
And, it Is... and isn't.....

I know better.
Every place has its strong points. And weak points. From time to time I muse, how great it would be to pull all the strong points together from various points on this globe, this orb... What A World THAT Would Be!!!

But... still.... There is no place like, "home."

Stayed/Lived in a SuperCity. Everything, and I do mean everything needed to live, to survive, was within minutes walking distance. Max, 10. And that is stretching it.

Yep. Doctor, dentist, pharmacy, bank, post office, general store (amazing..... nothing like this here in the states that I know of... you have to be there to appreciate the Awesome), places serving food, buying food items to cook yourself.... I could go on.... and on and on and.... but I won't.

Dealing with The Thing was a breath... no, that is not entirely accurate... A BLAST... of fresh air, there.

No place is perfect. Neither here nor there.
