Thanks for your comments, certainly interesting. I have suffered with the coated tongue for some years. The only time I have seen it looking perfect and pink, was after food poisoning - obviously my system cleared everything out and I wasn't eating for a day or two.

I do have other symptoms, which may or may not be relevant. Seborrheic Dermatitis , itchy ears (dryness), occasional diarrhoea (once per week - usually after greasy food)and just a nagging pain towards the end of my intestines (not near my tummy)

Any comments or thoughts would be gratefully appreciated. But I guess the symptoms could be anything?
